Feed a child for a fiver

Could you feed a child 3 times a day for 12 days for £5? No?
Well we can - but we need your fiver to do it.

£5 could provide a child with 3 good meals a day for 12 days; more than that, it could help provide a ticket away from the horrors of street life.

Five quid to feed a child for 12 days - is it really too much to ask this Christmas? Donate now and over the 12 days of Christmas spare a moment to think about a street child tucking in to a meal that you made possible.

Abbishek's Story

A member of our team found a petrified looking child standing on Lucknow Railway Station. He was taken to our drop in shelter at Ehsaas where he told us his story.

Whilst playing outside his home 10 year old Abbishek had been 'befriended' by a stranger. The man lured him to the local station where they boarded a train.

After travelling for many miles Abhishek became frightened, so ran into the station when the train stopped. He got on another train, getting off at Lucknow where we spotted him.

The team were able to contact his mother and 24 hours after leaving home he was reunited with his distraught parents.

It was another victory for the Ehsaas mission to create a child protective environment at the station and provide a secure future for every child who arrives there unaccompanied.
